Abstract: Relational databases have dominated the database industry for the last 40 years. In the new era of Big Data, Big Users, Cloud Computing, and SaaS however, NoSQL advocates claim that NoSQL's data model flexibility, performance, and horizontal scalability make them better suited to the needs of today's applications. Will NoSQL end relational technology's 40 year reign? Listen to one of the leaders of the NoSQL industry talk about why NoSQL has been so successful, who is using it today, and what the future of NoSQL is.
